Frequently Asked Questions

What do I need to supply when submitting a claim form?
  • Include all requested information in your claim form submission which includes: serial number, purchase price, retailer name, your name, email address and state of residence.
  • A valid email address is required for each claim. That address serves as a unique identifier and is where we will send your Ruger Rewards.
  • Confirm that your firearm was purchased during the May 1, 2024 to June 16, 2024 eligibility period. Firearms purchased outside that window are not eligible for the program.
  • You must include proof of purchase in the form of photos/scans of your receipt (clearly showing the date of purchase, serial number, price paid and retailer name) and the box label (clearly showing the serial number.) Click here for examples.
Is my information kept confidential?
  • All information is maintained in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
How do my purchases count for Ruger Rewards?
  • Claims may be submitted for each qualifying firearm purchase made during the program period. A separate Ruger Rewards code will be issued for each approved claim.
What if I cannot locate my original purchase receipt?
  • If you are unable to locate your original purchase receipt, please contact the retailer where the purchase was made and ask them to reprint a receipt for you.
How do I include the receipt and box label?
  • If you are submitting the form via a smartphone, you can simply take photos of the items (or choose existing photos from your camera roll) during the submission, when requested. If submitting from a desktop computer, you can upload images obtained from a smartphone, digital camera, or desktop scanner (JPEG format only). Please ensure your images are legible (all information clearly readable) and include the full receipt/label to avoid having your claim rejected.
How long will it take for me to receive my Ruger Rewards?
  • Please allow 1-2 weeks for your Ruger Rewards request to be received, processed and your code issued. If it has been more than 2 weeks since your submission and you have not received your reward, go to the Status Page check the status of your claim.
My claim was rejected, what do I do?
  • If your claim was rejected for a fixable error (e.g. information not included, or attached images not legible) you should simply submit a new claim with the corrected information. Reasons for rejection will be included in the email sent out by the system, and on the status lookup page.
